The Woodburning Centre is a retailer of high-quality stoves and stove products, fireplaces and surrounds, with a showroom based in County Cork but serving a much wider area. Mel and Phil Walters, who own this family-run business, also provide advice and an installation service as well as spares and other related products.

Information, some photographs and some text were provided by client, all text was edited by Ireland’s Web Editor, site constructed by Ireland’s Web including use of stock photographs from IWS image library together with some commissioned photographs taken by Ireland’s Web Editor on site and images provided by manufacturers.

This client has benefited from a continuing partnership with Irelands Web since 2008. They have added new pages, images, YouTube footage and downloads to their site, introduced new elements to their business, and provided web site facilities and helpful information as downloads for their online customers.

They provide pdf versions of relevant building regulations and their own, branded notes on selecting an appropriate stove as well as online catalogues.

They also invited customer feedback through an online contact form. Here’s just one of the comments they got which is typical of many:

'I have no hesitation whatever in recommending this couple for their integrity, honesty and reliability. Phil is a gifted craftsman and a superb fitter. I would recommend the products they sell and the service they provide to anyone. Any person who purchases a product from this centre can be guaranteed an excellent product; they can also rest assured that the service they provide is of top quality.

If I have any more stoves to buy in future I know where I will be going.'

Consequently, they have continued to build traffic on their site with significant growth in visitor numbers and page views year on year plus the all-important regular indexing by search engines that gets a web site noticed.

More recently, they have developed a Facebook page for their business which now feeds directly into a page on their web site helping to drive more traffic, to show you how that works, we have included the Facebook feed on this page.

Now, for 2012 they have decided to expand their very successful business by setting up a new service providing spare parts for stoves, both for visitors to their showroom in Drimoleague and online through an e-commerce package. Irelands Web are building a new web site for that business to partner their existing one which will be upgraded and rebranded to reflect the totality of their business activity and success.
